INSTA-PIRATIONAL LA FAMIGLIA RANA GROCER TAKES UP LONDON RESIDENCY
A totally new food experience hits London, we are opening La Famiglia Rana Grocer on 9th November in London’s Marylebone for a five-week residency. It is a hidden gem of Italian gastronomy set to get taste buds tingling and camera phones snapping with a new concept of grocery shopping. The store thrills and enthralls from the moment shoppers enter, with tumbling greenery, fresh flowers and decadent marble backdrops, all designed to set off the visual and gastronomical beauty of the food-related items on offer in store.
This homage to beautiful (and delicious!) Italian goods includes, of course, a cornerstone of Italy’s epicurean traditions: fresh pasta. It will also be packed to the brim with the finest Italian hard-to-find, high end products. Visitors will be invited to discover some of Italy’s best-kept secrets from the country’s most revered producers and growers, as well as handicrafts by small artisan suppliers – many of whom have never been available
in the UK before.

A playground
for creative inspiration
Those looking to brush up their skills can participate in one of around 50 workshops taking place over the course of the five weeks, including: how to prepare perfect fresh pasta meals, pasta making, food photography and ingredients tastings.
Master classes will be held by members of Italy’s most beloved pasta family leading participants in an exploration of the delights of pasta traditions. Instagram aficionados including Food Feels, Cutlery Chronicles and Giulia Mule will also be hosting master classes, including food photography and styling. Visitors looking to pick up a few groceries can pick-and-mix their favourite fresh artisanal ingredients before receiving free, expert instruction from Italian pasta chefs on preparing and plating them into original, beautiful and delicious, restaurant-quality meals at home. Those who can’t wait to tuck in to their chosen delicacies can even have them prepared in store.

There are 6 Fresh Pasta Kits for Foodies curated by Michelin-starred chef Skye Gyngnell and La Famiglia Rana, that have everything needed to create picture perfect plates of fresh filled pasta. You can create your kit following Skye's recipes or
create your own!
LET YOU INNER STYLIST GO WILD
Those on the hunt for the perfect Instagram-worthy content, or looking to practice their food photography will find an infinite number of combinations of beautiful produce, backdrops and props all free for them to use - with store-assistants on hand to help them build stunning sets and original arrangements. ALL FOR A GREAT CAUSE
La Famiglia Rana is on a mission to ensure everyone has access to beautifully prepared pasta. As part of its passion to share the best of its traditions, La Famiglia Rana, is partnering with food bank charity FoodCycle during the Grocer residency. All proceeds from the master classes and fresh pasta meal kits will be donated to FoodCycle. La Famiglia Rana will also be providing fresh food to FoodCycle’s food banks throughout the campaign.
The partnership will support FoodCycle in its work to provide tasty lunches and dinners for socially-isolated people in the community. The pick-and-mix-your-own kits start at just £10 per pack – with all proceeds going to FoodCycle.
